Xavier Academy recently held its Open House event on April 29, 2023, at its Lazimpat campus. The event was a great success, with over 60 visitors and parents in attendance. Attendees got the chance to learn about XA's history, course options, application procedure, admission criteria, scholarship offers, and student life at XA.
The Open House event featured a college tour, where visitors were taken to various areas of the campus, such as the lobby, library, basketball court, computer lab, canteen, and classrooms. There were also registration, sessions with faculty, visits with coordinators, and help desks available for visitors.
XA also offered a scholarship of Rs. 50,000 for attendees of the Open House event. Interested candidates could grab this offer by booking a seat within one week from April 29 with a Rs. 10,000 deposit as a booking amount. The booking amount would be deducted from the admission amount, and it was refundable. The college would refund Rs. 10,000 if the candidate failed to meet the eligibility criteria set by the college (2.8 & 2.4) in SEE or failed in the XA entrance exam.
The highlight of the event was the musical program, which began around 1:00 pm. Afrita Khadgi, the talented singer-songwriter and The Voice of Nepal contestant, and Sanju Moktan, the talented singer, performer, The Voice of Nepal contestant, and Miss Teen 2017, performed songs in front of the audience. XA's music teacher and management coordinator, Pushkar Shrestha, also performed songs during the musical program.
The program concluded at around 4:00 pm, and everyone left with a greater understanding of what XA has to offer. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students and parents to learn about the college and its various offerings. Overall, the Open House event was a great success and provided a valuable opportunity for attendees to learn about XA.
