Pickleball Court Opening

On 1 May 2026, Xavier Academy inaugurated its new pickleball court, taking a step toward promoting sports and student well-being.

The event was attended by Suresh Shrestha (DIG, APF), Sanat Basnet (Former IGP, APF), Sailendra Shrestha (Former IGP, APF), Netra Karki (SSP, APF), Jeevan KC (SP, APF), Lakesh Tumbahamfe (SP, APF), Nama Pravat Rai (Inspector, APF), Phatey Khadka (Former Colonel, Nepal Army), Saurav Bhandari (President, Pickleball Association Nepal), Dil Bhusan Pathak (Senior Journalist), Kumar Karki (Imperial World School), Kumar Shrestha (Pickleball Coach), along with APF players Indrakala Shrestha, Bed Tamang, Bhagawati BK, Lama, Prakash Acharya, Sahana Hitang, and Chamling.

The new court is expected to encourage students and the wider community to stay active, build teamwork, and develop a healthy lifestyle, while also supporting the growth of pickleball in Nepal.
