On 2 July 2022, on the auspicious occasion of 25th Anniversary of Nepal Education foundation, particularly Xavier Academy, Lazimpat, an inter school/college Art, essay and chess competition was held in the premises of the academy. The competition commenced with the inaugural address by Prof Dr Sriram Bhagut Mathe, former Dean of Pulchowk Engineering campus and founding chairman of NEF. There were 12 schools and colleges invited to the program from across the valley. The judge for art competition was Senior Chairman of Art council, Mr Kiran Manandhar, Mr Bharat Babu Khanal, NELTA Secretary for English essay competition, Dr Jeevlal Bashyal for Nepali essay and Maheshwor Lal Dangol for chess competition.
In the competition, Jamyang Sherpa of Xavier Academy excelled in the Art competition and Stuti Aryal of Bright future Secondary School in Nepali essay writing,, Little Angels’ School in English essay writing and Dipendra Gamal of Annapurna college in Chess competition. The program was materialized with the joined effort of the XA staff, student council members led by Senior management team.
The program started in the morning at 8.45 and concluded at 3.pm in the afternoon with refreshment
