With many educational institutions offering various undergraduate programmes across the country, the post-SLC students face the problems for selecting the college that best suits their personal and academic requirements. It is within this perspective that Xavier Academy is committed to the mission with an attempt to modify the learners' behaviours through the learning process. Our primary concern is to teach the students based on their accurate knowledge of the mental processes as well as their behavioural aspects. Since education is to mould and shape the fluid state of students' mind, our motto is not only to teach the subject but also the student. Moreover, we are concerned with the human behaviour and personality, its growth, development and guidance under the social processes. The learner, the learning process and the learning situation are the concerns of our attention to develop an understanding of what goes on in the classroom. We make carefully controlled observations, determine the pertinent facts and apply the findings in actual school practices. Our tutors are competent to direct or guide learning, motivate students to learn, help students develop desirable attitudes, and achieve those personal qualities that are conducive to successful learning. Our ambition is to keep the students well-informed and knowledgeable in order to be successful in subsequent studies.
